The call
- Video, audio and chat messages go directly between your devices. The service doesn't see, hear, record or store them.
- When the direct path is blocked, the call goes through a backup server (Cloudflare). It only relays the encrypted stream and can't decrypt it.
- Cloudflare servers help set up the connection, and Google servers if Cloudflare is unavailable. They can see the participants' IP addresses.
What is stored
- There are no accounts: the service doesn't ask for a name, email, phone number or password.
- For paid plans: the access code, its expiry date and the receipt number. Code records are not deleted.
- For free minutes: a random number generated by your browser and how many minutes were used. The number says nothing about you and is stored only as a hash.
- Your browser remembers the site language you chose, so links open in it. It isn't sent to the server.
- After a call: a technical summary with how long the connection lasted, direct or via the backup server, connection quality, and browser and system type. No IP addresses or call content; the room code and browser number are stored only as hashes. Summaries are deleted after 90 days.
- The site is hosted on Railway (USA). The request log keeps the IP address and browser type for 7 days.
- A backup of the code list with expiry dates is kept by the service owner in Telegram. The owner can also export technical call summaries there.
- There are no cookies or third-party analytics. The server keeps anonymous statistics: how many times the home, "How a call works" and "Pricing" pages were opened, how many times "Try" and payment were clicked, and which link people came from. These are only daily numbers, not linked to anyone.
